Central Park with Gram

EC and I had the whole day together while Courtney was at work and Dan was at business meetings.
We slept in and then I went for a run in Central Park. (Hip felt fine -- fingers crossed it doesn't start hurting.)

Then EC and I met up and went to Jacob's Pickles for brunch.

After we walked over to Central Park where we wanted to have a Pedicab ride.
We had to walk a little ways before we finally saw one available.

Our driver.

We took an hour ride and not only did we enjoy perfect weather and the beautiful park spaces, the people watching was as New York'ish as ever. At least three couples getting married, many musicians -- a jazz group, bongo players, a violinist (walking while playing at the same time), a chinese-style instrument and guitar group. People on bikes, scooters, carriages, jogging, walking, pedicabs. Picnickers, tourists, baseball games, screaming toddlers, kids at the playground. Everything you could Imagine.

And then we headed back to the streets to get back to our hotel for a rest before dinner and the temple.

We had a wonderful day walking and talking and catching up.
It was so nice to be able to have time to talk about anything and everything.
