21st Century

I have entered the 21st century with my first YouTube upload. And although I do like to think back on how dang funny we were to do this dance at the Talent Show, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble of uploading it because it's been 3 years now since the event. sister had a Variety Show in her own ward and was looking for inspiration (ha, ha) and couldn't find our performance on YouTube or my blog. (Well that's because it wasn't there.) And I realized I shouldn't let this event go undocumented and un-shared any longer. And it gave me a chance to figure out how to post things on YouTube. So now I can Blog and Facebook and Text and Post to YouTube. Welcome to 2010!

The Gift of a Perfectly Ordinary Day

My sister posted this on her blog and I loved it so much I'm copying it. Last week we registered Courtney for high school and Marty for Jr. High. We're organizing photos of all the 6th graders from Kindergarten through 6th grade in anticipation of 6th grade promotion and a video I'm helping a friend put together. Watching my kids and their friends grow up through pictures has already made me reflect on how fast the time goes. This author sums it up so well--grab a tissue.
