Hike 1 of 25 today--Mt. Olympus to the first river.
(Realizing I should change the hiking goal to 24 in 2024!)
I love this view of the morning light on the mountains across the valley.
It was my view from my bedroom on Wander Lane every morning that I knelt beside my bed to pray,
and it never ceases to inspire, uplift and fill me with love and joy.
I hiked very slowly today, but I put one foot in front of the other and made it up and back in the time I had allotted. (1:30 + 20 minute drive time.)
