Harry Potter Studios

 Harry Potter day!

Dan had an early meeting, but we had time to walk down to the Lincoln Inn Church before transferring to our new hotel and then taking an Uber out to Harry Potter Studios.

The Rosewood Hotel--very grand and formal.

We visited Harry Potter studios and for over four hours immersed ourselves in the creation of Harry Potter movies! We read every sign, listened to almost every extra on the audio guide.

We loved discovering how teams of talented artists brought this magical world to life for over ten years.

The only thing we didn't like was butterbeer ice cream.
It was cool whip. Chilled cool whip flavored as butterbeer and
sold in a big heaping portion. It was just wrong.

Back in town we wanted to try another fish 'n chips place Corey recommended, Poppies.
So for the second night in a row I ate fried fish. I do love an excuse to dip in tartar sauce though.
And please apprecate that we were sat at a table close to Donny and Marie.

Dessert at Fuwa Fuwa -- Japanese pancakes, so fluffy and delicious!

We're staying at the SoHo Hotel down a quiet sidestreet (thankfully, because it's busy here!)
with the happiest, hippest color scheme. Kit Kemp may be my new favorite designer.
