Took a break from writing and revising this evening to read.
I'd started an Emily Henry book a few months ago and wasn't impressed.
Couldn't figure out what all the hype was about.
Then a friend said the one I tried was her least favorite and to try another,
so when I saw Happy Place in the grocery store of some other town we recently visited,
(our calendar is so full of travel and new towns, I seriously can't keep track)
I picked it up and I'm loving it.
Also, isn't the carving in our new bed so special?
Ethan P. and I went to dinner at Tony Burgers.
He's the best conversationalist and good company!
We never ran out of interesting things to talk about
and he even gave me tips for a couple of soccer scenes in my book when we got home.
