Smooth Moves

Big moving day, but also the easiest move we've ever done! 

We hired the crew to not only move in the furniture, but put it all together and take boxes away.

It looks soo good! I love it!

We had a few mistakes--carpets in both bedrooms that are too big. 

I ordered two more the next size down and not going to worry about it any more. 

Also I ordered two carpets for living area instead of one,

so now Michael and Courtney have a new living room rug that matches ours.

Annnddd, Pottery Barn didn't send a table in a shipment so when I called to track it down, they just sent another and two showed up. So, now Courtney and Michael have a new dining table that matches ours.

And I ordered a queen size bed then changed my mind to a king, but PB couldn't accept a return for the queen, so the movers benefitted from that extra.

Often Courtney would check progress on our apartment from her stairwell window.

So today, the circle became complete. The unit is finished and we're all moved in.

Thanks to Courtney and Michael who showed up with dinner after our big move in!

Well, the furniture is all moved in. Now for trips to Home Goods, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma and Container Store. And Jonathan Adler and some antique stores if we have time!
