76 for 76th

76 trombones for Mom's 76th birthday!
When the Music Man got extended to January 15 (past its original Dec 31 close date),
my mom asked if any of her daughters wanted to go to New York and see it with her.

Yes! It's soooo good, and how fun to go with my mom and sisters who I spent my childhood with
playing and replaying the record and singing along and acting it out. Endlessly.

We went to church in the morning and Livy got her first subway ride.
(And got to wear pants to church!)

We walked home afterward past the 77th Street Bazaar

Then home to quickly change and to The Music Man matinee.

Waited to see Hugh Jackman afterward and found a good spot to see by climbing on the light pole.
Felt very Singin' in the Rain.

A little walkabout Times Square

Jacob's Pickles for dinner and a happy birthday dessert.

Home to change into sweats and over to Courtneys so everyone could see her apartment.
Such a fun day being with everyone in New York City!
Happy Birthday, Mom! I love you!
I love your positive energy, the way you make friends with everyone,
how you can always find interesting things to talk to with strangers,
you're always up for fun, when things go "wrong" you see it as an adventure,
and how you love love love your kids and grandkids and now your great-grandkids!
