I walked in the door home from my flight from New York at 3:30 p.m. yesterday
and immediately started taking down Christmas.
I'm not exaggerating. I got right to work. It was January 10, after all,
and in two days we were going to Deer Valley so I had a lot to do before then.
24 hours later I was almost finished.
I left snow decorations up and added Valentine's Day.
Why not?
Might as well enjoy pink and hearts all month long.
It was hard to say goodbye to the city. I love it. I love our apartment there.
I'm so excited to get to spend more time there in our own place.
But the minute I walked in the front door, I was happy to be home.
It's not a bad thing to love wherever we are.
