Hey there New York City!
We arrived around 6:00 p.m. and immediately got to work unpacking all the boxes we'd ordered for our kitchen. I set up a registry on Williams Sonoma so I could easily add to it for all our kitchen goods.
Worked with a woman at the WS store here in NY who placed the order and made any changes I needed after the fact. Items were shipped through UPS. But our doormen would receive and bring to our apartment! So many things about living in New York are easier than you would think!
Courtney ordered dinner and came over and helped us all evening, unpacking, washing and putting away.
So nice having three sets of hands!
Funny how we did this with her the first time she moved to New York City,
and now we're on the receiving end!
Also nice to have a head start with the kitchen put away
before furniture arrives at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.
