School photos -- Nick already looks so different now that he got a haircut!
Glad we have documentation of the mullet and bangs.
He's living his best life. Up every morning at 4:45 a.m. to go to the gym.
Bowling almost every day and scoring over 200.
Slamming out an A in Calculus and got a 4.0 this term.
For FHE tonight we went suit shopping. It's been about four years that Nick's been wearing the same maroon or blue blazer. He'd also been cramming his feet into the same church shoes for that time as well.
Got new church shoes a few weeks ago -- love DSW for discounted dress shoes.
And any shoes for that matter.
Nordstrom didn't have too many off the rack choices, but we did look at all the custom fabric to see if any caught his eye. Light gray was it. The next store we came to was Bonobos and they had light gray.
Well, after all the trying on we discovered they sold it, but didn't have it in stock.
But the two young guys who helped us were thrilled to have customers and got every size variation possible and Nick was a good sport to try everything on and they had a couch so Dan and I were very comfortable watching the fashion show.
Ended up with a blue blazer, a couple new pants and shirts
and on the e-mail list for when the gray suit is back in.
Ended with dinner at Cheesecake Factory.
We're pretty lucky that Nick doesn't mind hanging out with his parents!
Dan said Nick was pretty lucky to be the youngest child because the other boys didn't get suits.
I reminded him they actually did have several suits.
He just wasn't with us when we bought them. It wasn't a Family Night activity.
More like a squished between everything else going on and hopefully in time to get it tailored by the dance, mom and son outing. But it was always fun.
