Cozy

Sitting in front of a fire binging Netflix while  Nick and Noah have worked all afternoon and evening on installing a subwoofer in Nick's car. Pulling out the stereo, routing wires from the engine to the back of the car, zip-tying them to be neatly organized and hidden. By 10:00 they finished and it works!

I made chicken noodle soup in the crock-pot and have to say I'm never going back.
Chicken noodle soup cooks fast anyway, but in the crockpot you don't have to worry about cooking chicken ahead of time or chopping it or any of that. Also new hack, don't chop onions. Simply cut it in half and it will separate so easily when the soup is done along with the chicken which shreds by only touching it with tongs. 3 chicken breasts, 4 carrots, 4 celery ribs, one onion, halved, 2 garlic cloves. 6 cups broth, 1 t each: salt, oregano and basil. 1/4 t pepper, 2 bay leaves. Cook on high, 4-5 hours. Add 1 cup noodles, shred chicken with tongs. 1/4 cup fresh parsley. Cook 15 more minutes or until noodles are soft.

Coincidentally, a neighbor dropped off a loaf of homemade french bread as a thank you for the Elder's Quorum party we hosted last weekend. Tastiest complement to the soup!

How about some memes:

...pauses to stop and think about this a few times a day.

Yep.
