Something Different

Dan took the boys to the west desert to race little "off-road" cars.
I'm going to call it a "dune buggy" but they're actually called "Sierras."
Now you know.

They all had a blast!
Covid quarantine points to Dan for thinking of something super fun that
was different and away from the house that the boys could do to stir up
some adrenaline and brother bonding time!

When they got home Dan grilled steaks for dinner
and later in the evening we played the world's longest round of "Bang."
Usually it's short, but with four beginners (Dan, Nick, Chris and I),
It took an hour and a half.
Poor Marty and Lizzie. They had to be so patient.

When we were finally done at 11:30 and Lizzie went home,
we ended up playing one more round just so we could get our brains
to remember how to play for next time!

(Uplifting podcast of the day: "Leading Saints, "The Power of Stillness" with Jacob Hess, Carrie Skarda, Kyle Anderson and Ty Mansfield.)
