Getting outside on a beautiful sunny day, feels so good,
and hiking in the snow makes you feel like you're one of the cool kids.
(There was a group of 60-somethings sledding down and they were REALLY cool!)
Desolation Overlook
2 hours roundtrip.
2.6 miles to the overlook;
2.3 miles down if you take the Thaynes Canyon shortcut.
Kershaw was also happy to get a hike.
