The schedule was a HUGE help and we often caught the kids checking it out to see what fun to look forward to. Matt liked to tease us, but he also made sure we stuck to it.
Even though it seemed like a bummer to stop people from having fun playing in the yard or breaking up conversations, everyone was happy to go along with the activities and I think it made the whole trip even more fun.
Also, having set-up and clean-up food assignments was a HUGE help.
Also, our matching sweatshirts designed by Michael, coordinated by Courtney & Mom and executed by Christopher were a huge hit!
Morning yoga with Chris:
Chris had a full 15 minute yoga session memorized and was a great yogi.
Yard games outside --
corn hole, cowboy golf, hunny ball, croquet, axe throwing (plastic) -- were played non-stop.
Friendship bracelets and hair wraps inside.
New baby birds under the deck and two thunder storms today were a natural highlight.
Jeremy took Dylan to shoot BB guns and soon they had a whole crowd join them.
Teenagers out for a drive in the new Bronco.
Cafe Rifo pork salads for lunch.
Piedra Falls after lunch.
Polar plunges were a regular event each day.
A walk and polar plunge in the afternoon:
After a catered enchilada dinner (by the Ball's), Michelle & Brent organized "Big Bowl"
(write three names on paper w/ three rounds: describe in many words, describe w/ two words
charades only.) Taylor Swift's name came up numerous times.
