And the Reunion Begins

Just after we finished cleaning up dinner, the Paul's arrived from Chicago.
Ethan is moving to school in Provo so they had a two-day road trip with a car packed to the brim with everything he needs to move to college.
(Michelle, Brent & Ethan)

An hour later, the Nugent's arrived. Yesterday they flew from Oregon to Salt Lake,
and today made the eight-hour road trip
(Bekah, Matt, Jax, Lucy, Livy & Jane)

About 15 minutes later, Morgan and Chase pulled up -- much earlier than we expected.
They'd been able to leave work early from Utah County.

Ten minutes later just as the sun was beginning to go down,
the Lyman's arrived with Grandma & Dimitrios.
They flew from Northern California to Albuquerque then a four-hour drive to get here.
(Rachel, Jeremy, Cooper, Dylan, Reese
Grandma & Dimitrios)

Half of the Wingers got in about 9:00 p.m. from Utah County.
(Sheree, Jared, Monet, Carson and Soren)

We are SO excited to be together.
Lots of happy screaming and cheering and hugs and everyone running to the cars to welcome newcomers.

Everyone (including us) is blown away by how beautiful it is here in Pagosa.
I gave multiple tours, everyone loved the picture wall especially (and the green cabinets in the bunkhouse), we got everyone's luggage to their rooms in the main house, bunk house and "barn" "loft," and the children decided who wanted to have a "sleepover" in their cousins' room.

It was a little cold outside, so we got the party started inside,
interrupting the multiple conversations and laughter and children racing around
only once to give an overview of the ranch rules and schedule (that Courtney transcribed onto big posters) for the week. It includes the mealtimes and food and who's in charge of cooking & clean-up, group day activity, games for around camp, crafts and an after-dinner activity.

Elise, Ethan, Miles and Simone arrive around 2:00 a.m.tonight.
Michael & Katie and family arrive tomorrow,, as well as
Diane, Luke & Max.
Marty, Lizzie and Emi come on Sunday.

Here we go!
