More Magic!

Early entry at 8:30 am for Hollywood Studios.
Trip hack: they let us in the park by 8:15 and we were on our first ride
(Rock and Roller Coaster) before early entry technically opened at 8:30!

Hack 2: It was such a FUN indoor coaster!

Hollywood Studios is home to Tower of Terror (still Tower of Terror with a fun twist different from Disneyland) and the new Star Wars land.

Blue milk is still as gross as ever, but these guys didn't mind it.

and the sodas came in the cutest Star Wars-style bottles.

We took a little break at the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular.
Relatively entertaining -- especially if you need to sit a minute.

Toy Story Land was darling and new-to-us and still includes my favorite game,
Toy Story Midway Mania.

Thankfully we found churros!
(Although I'd rate them a 5 out of 10.)

We were ready to move to our final park, Epcot, by 1:00,
and sadly, by this time, Michael was beginning to feel really sick.
He'd gotten a cold over the prior weekend and with lots of rest hoped he'd recovered quickly.
But as the cold subsided, he lost his voice and came down with a case of laryngitis.
He was the ultimate trooper.
Also, there's no shade at Epcot (my theory is it forces you to shop because the stores have A/C).

Trip note: If you were staying longer in a hotel, you could do morning, 8 - Noon,
in Hollywood Studios. Go swim at the hotel for a few hours and go back to Epcot in the evening when its cooler and you're hungry to eat at all the "countries."
We spent about four hours at Epcot and were able to see and do all that we wanted to.

Great rides at Epcot were:
Test Track, Soarin' Around the World, Guardians of the Galaxy.

A fantastic ride if you're sick, hot and tired, is
"Spaceship Earth" a slow moving journey (in cars) through the history of tech advancement.
It was actually super interesting. And we were tired.

I loved that the architecture in Epcot looked authentic to each country.
Courtney had been before and knew we should wander through the shops, and I'm so glad we did.
The buildings were so picture-worthy I had to get a pic in each area!

After walking so much and being so hot and all ready to go home, we couldn't give up until 5:30 when
our last ride was scheduled -- Guardians of the Galaxy.
And it was AMAZING!
Such a great way to end our Disney days.

Before:

After:

Epcot closes at 11:00 so we anticipated a VERY late night getting in to Daytona
an hour and a half away from Disney.
So we were happy we could do everything we wanted and have two great days,
but still look forward to a good night's sleep.

Also, Michael's voice is MIA. We've missed his verbal joy today!
