We had brunch with EC in the morning and really hope we find time
to get to Phoenix to visit more often in the coming year.
It's easy, and really nice, to fly down for a quick overnight.
We arrived home late afternoon,
in time to make a delicious dinner noodling zucchini and squash from our garden for pasta,
and dicing garden tomatoes and basil for bruschetta. Yum.
We considered going to the drive-in to watch Twisters,
but realized we could watch it at home and snuggling on our outdoor patio couch sounded more fun.
(With popcorn and treats, too, of course.)
Found out that Luke and Chris took dates to the Drive-In and also watched Twisters.
4 out of 5 stars. Good tension and lots of fun.
