I am home and so excited to see Emi tonight!
Marty and Lizzie came to Utah to keep Nick company while
Dan and I are in Costa Rica for a work trip.
She's getting bigger!
We were hanging out in Marty's room getting her ready for bed -- time change and travel and she was up much later than usual. Lizzie nursed her and we took turns holding Emi some more until she got fed up and was ready to sleep. I offered to bounce her to sleep and imagine my surprise when they said I could just put her down in the bassinet awake!
So proud of these kids for figuring that out early! And proud of Emi for getting to sleep all on her own.
Her dad can take some credit for that since that's the kind of baby he was.
Not a bad way to start parenthood!
