Today was BUSY! But fun-busy.
Walk with Catherine, Clara, buy food for Road Home lunches, make 20 lunches,
drive-by shower for Marty and Lizzie. (Lizzie's ward.)
It was so fun to meet all of Lizzie's neighbors and ward friends.
It's like every one was an old friend even though I had just met them.
The drive-by component is awesome because you get a chance to talk for a minute with everyone.
Even though they were strangers to me, I loved it.
You could see personalities and how there were similarities to our own neighborhood and ward.
You could also see how it was a wonderful area to grow up in and have so many people who have loved you and watched you grow. They all LOVED Lizzie and just gushed about her!
Neighborhoods matter.
Wendy was a hostess, and also a best friend of a friend in my ward!
And several were Olympus grads. A bit older than me, but such a small world!
Marty and Lizzie got us hooked on Riverdale the other night.
It's pretty fun to have a fun show. The parents are horrible to the kids in the show, but its entertaining, full of drama and suspense.
They were binging season 1 today,
but they took a break to help us make lunches for The Road Home before the shower!
They make me laugh. It's fun to have a show to share.
