And Everything Else

Wearing a mask in grocery stores actually feels normal.

The skateboard ramp is done! Chris is really good. He's teaching Nick how to "pump,"
which is how you start from stopped in the middle and get speed to rock back and forth on the hills.

Chris found my old Girbaud jeans. And was so excited to have something truly vintage to wear.
Icing on the cake was his friend's mom said, "Girbaud! All the cool kids had Girbaud in high school."
(Of course I didn't get mine until college when every last cent went to paying for $100 jeans.
So, yeah, they were that important.)

Sat on the waist, the slash pockets in the front and big, low pockets in the back.
But most importantly, the white tag proclaiming the brand along the fly.
Kristin and I came across this bear wearing a mask on our walk.
Love that this neighbor was sharing their sense of humor!

New Instagram handle for Lizzie!! Yay, lizzieshaef!

Courtney, Michael and Megan went on a trip -- camping!
Fifteen blocks away on their friend, Christian's, roof.
You know you've been sequestered a long time when walking fifteen blocks feels like a getaway/vacation and is the farthest you've been in two months.

Nick wanted a mullet so Chris gave him one.
Anything different is welcome during this weird time.

Nick is getting sick of staying home. I'm not sure what to do about letting him hang out with friends.
Sigh.

Finally, congrats to Morgan,
Most Valuable Diver!

And while we're on the subject of nieces, Elise has been quarantined in Milan, Italy (on her mission) for ten weeks. They can only go outside once a WEEK for shopping.
And she has THE BEST attitude. We are blessed in our part of the world.

Elise is on the left. Luckily she loves her companion!
I love the mountains, the blossoms, the temperate weather, green trees and grass, sunshine and space so we can still be outside even if we're not socializing.

LOVE YOU!
