T-1 day to Defense

I went to the temple this morning and loved, #1 walking to get there.
#2 there were only 4 men and 14 women in our session so it felt cozy instead of crowded
and I enjoyed a sweet peace while there.

Afterward ran across the street to Target, bought new pants at Zara and when I realized I was starving and it was waaaay past lunch time, got street tacos and ate at a park in Lincoln Square.
You could make a case for the living being easy in New York.

I met up with Michael and Courtney for mani pedis,

and we all got Columbia blue in support of our favorite soon-to-be Ph.D!
(And mine and Michael's sandals match. Try to guess whose toes are whose.)

Dan showed up just in time for dinner at 7th Street Burger,
which Michael has been dreaming about, so we had to check it out.
Super yummy smash burgers. And we lucked out getting the only table and benches in the place.

It's been 10 days since Dan and I have seen each other, which is the longest we've been apart.
Between recuperating from Spring Break and both of us being busy every day since then,
the time flew by and went much faster than either of us expected.
But its nice to be together again.
