Happy Easter!
After church I listened to Music and the Spoken Word, some of Mormon Tab's Hallelujah concert and finally a good Sunday Chist-focused playlist. It was just what I needed to fill my soul.
Back at home, Dan did an indoor easter egg hunt for Chris and Nick (the last of the snow finally melted today in our neighborhood) and they made a steak dinner.
We had a more traditional Easter dinner, but with the help of our guests, it was extra fancy!
Courtney, Michael, Becca, JD, Mary Ellen, Veronica and Cameron.
Ham, cheesy scalloped potatoes (recipe here);
roasted colored carrots w/ thinly sliced orange rounds, cumin, feta, cilantro and pepitos;
salad with apple, bacon and cheese;
challah bread
and sticky toffee pudding w/ ice cream for dessert.
Everything was gorgeous and so tasty.
