For my class on Querying Agents this term, I had to write a one page synopsis, a pitch paragraph and a logline. I felt great about my synopsis and paragraph after detailing every scene, working out my plot beats and the turning points and a lot of writing and rewriting.
The logline (one sentence descriptor) was... mostly fine. I did figure out the key points which was important. And then a classmate with a gift for turning sentences fine tuned it to perfection.
