On my flight home the lady next to me watched a horror movie -- Freaky.
That's the name of it.
That's the name of it.
I did my best not to watch it and just read my book, but it was impossible not to get distracted,
by all the murdering. Every time I looked up someone was getting killed and I'd have to quickly look away. But then look back to see if they were indeed dead. They were.
It was super confusing because Vince Vaughn was a major character
which seemed really odd for a horror movie, so there must have been some laughs too?
As soon as I got in my Uber I read the full movie plot so I could stop thinking about it.
I have to do this a lot--like when the person next to me watched Megan. And another time, Parasite.
(Speaking of murdering, we bought the kids tickets to Sweeney Todd while we're in New York for Thanksgiving. I read the plot for that too today, and I hope they don't mind lots of blood and murder! Yikes!)
What I'm Grateful For:
I flew across the country in 5 hours. Including three hours for travel to and from and waiting for my flight, I made it from home in NYC to home in SLC in 8 hours.
This is the amount of time it takes to drive to Pagosa.
And the amount of time it took my Grandma to get from her home in the Avenues to a relative's farm in Holladay in 1920 in the back of a wagon pulled by horses.
What a wonderful time we live in!
