Apples and Fall

Nick didn't have school this morning and so I woke up my favorite way in the world...

wake up, roll over and grab my book.

Then I stayed in bed until 2:00 p.m. reading (and finishing).

And now that it's officially fall (also perhaps influenced by the cover of my book), 

its time to make baked apple filling and switch to a fall flavor for my breakfast cereal topping.
