Last Day on the Beach

We decided to commemorate our last day here by circling back around for breakfast at
The Donut Hole.

Even though it was chilly, we wanted to spend our last day on the beach, and were so glad we did!
Lying in the sand was so warm. The water was still and as calm as a lake.

We reserved chairs and umbrellas ahead of time for the week so they're all set up when we arrive at the beach in the morning and taken down by Rosemary Beach at 5:00. We wondered if without reservations we could find a space to sit. There was still plenty of room for regular chairs behind the second row and next to where we were sitting. But it was nice to have a reservation on the first row and just show up each day. Lots of people set up tents, volleyball nets or moved their group of chairs into a circle.

Back to Seaside for dinner at Bud & Alley's.
We've got a better car configuration. Millie on Eric's lap in front. Me, Steph, Nick and Will in back.
Memories! (Sing it, Mom.)

Learned another new game: Splendor. Definitely one to add to our list for our family.
Also taught the Rigby's Qwirkle. Which ironically they taught us last year in Hawaii,
but had forgotten since then!
