Finishing the Project

Biking around the loop in Central Park was a great way to start the morning.
Michael and Courtney have a Citibike right outside their apartment!

Lunch at Luke's Lobster so we had stamina for a second trip back to Container Store.
(We had specifically planned to make two trips. Two rounds are always a good idea!)

New York definitely feels "back to normal" except that Broadway isn't open
and everyone is wearing masks. Tons of people out and about, eating out, resuming sports, exercising, shopping, etc. Little outdoor restaurants have been created up and down Amsterdam and Broadway and probably everywhere else.

This was from yesterday's excursion, but we had almost as much the next go-round.

Happened by Mr. Softie when we got back home.
And I have been wanting a Mr. Softie EVERY SINGLE TRIP to New York for like the past four years and have never come across a truck at the right time.
So even though I'm still doing no sugar, I got a Mr. Softie anyway.
I ate the whole thing and IT WAS WORTH IT!

And then we had to eat dinner at 10:00 p.m. because even though it was late, we were all kind of hungry, and I was worried I might be sick without real food. Take out from Carmine's family style portions at 10:00 p.m. Can't get more New York than that. Delish!

Befores and Afters of our Organization Extravaganza:
Basically we got drawer systems to maximize closet space which freed up dresser space.
We put a few more less used things under the bed, utilized bins with lids so they can be stacked with room for more and hung what we could. Also divided some things in larger baskets into smaller bins or drawers to they were more easily accessible.

So fun to work together. It's fun if you've got someone to work with who also thinks its fun.
Kind of like I dreaded going to the paint store. But when my mom was willing to come with me, and I knew she thought it was fun and had good ideas, it was so much more fun together!
