Plumtaw Road

Began our morning with yoga in the loft and it was the best yoga for stretching workout
I've ever done. On the Nike App. Remind me to ask Courtney to send me the info.

Then we drove to town via Plumtaw Road. About a 1 hour 10 minute and so beautiful.
We took a few little jaunts to explore a couple of trails and another time
Dan and I will have to hike Four Mile Trail to Four Mile Falls.

Our plan was to explore the shops in town, most of which are within one block on Main Street.
There are a few pawn shops and a rock store up the road, but we'll do those another time.

Found these plates in the first antique shop we went to.
Had these growing up and Sheree commented she always thought the pattern looked like cooked broccoli.
My mom agreed but said Corelle was the best brand -- never broke or chipped, lightweight and thin so loaded in the dishwasher well. (That would have been to dry in the dishwasher because for years our dishwasher didn't work and we just used it as a dish drainer when we finished washing!)

Also found some 1900 Indian Head pennies to fill the hole in my heart that's existed since 1987
when someone took my penny collection and spent it for candy at the gas station.
Including my 1900 penny.

Found a few cute outside blankets at another shop
and Courtney had good Pagosa Sweatshirt success as well as fun souvenirs.

After dinner with the boys and three rousing rounds of Yahtzee on our own
(I got a double Yahtzee and over 400 points in one round!!)
Courtney and I were going to bed early so we were fresh for our hike tomorrow,
but we noticed the sky was perfectly clear and decided to do some star gazing.

First we had to wait for the boys to finish their Dungeons and Dragons game.
Then we had to wait for Jupiter to make it past the horizon.
By midnight we didn't have luck focusing on the moon and Jupiter was still behind the mountains
so we finally called it a night. We got lots to look forward to in understanding the telescope better.
