Said goodbye to half the crew

Michael, Courtney and I are staying.
Planned to go to a 4th celebration at the Ball's across the street.
Made coleslaw to share and then read the e-mail once more right before heading over
and discovered the party was on the 3rd.
Ate Mexican in town instead and did the grocery shopping for friends arrival tomorrow.
Celebrated the holiday with ice cream and a game of Yahtzee instead of fireworks.
Atypical and a little anticlimatic than the usual,
but spending with great people made it a great day anyway.
