Family Day

Love waking up in the morning and knowing all my kids are under our roof. I love having everyone sitting in the kitchen together laughing, eating, no one in a rush and feeling like it was never any different.

In the afternoon, we headed to Utah Olympic Park where Nick has been working all summer. It's full of many high-thrill activities, made better by being able to see where Nick worked and better understand what he did. He knew the lay of the land so got everything figured out what we should do.

Tubing down two ski jump hills (SO steep!), cruising the Alpine slide and zipping on the eight line zip tour course.

(Marty's still home working, but joined us for the zip tour.)

Nick got to read us the rules for the zip tour, and then Chris showed off his people skills by making a go of welcoming us to the park and reading the rules himself. He was a natural pro.

We had family pictures back home and then a late dinner at Itto's.
It was pretty much a perfect family day.
