Winter Wonderland

We had a day trip to Pagosa for a progress check on the ranch with our builder.
Duncan and Kristin were able to come with us!

These brothers talked aviation -- planes, vistas, and watching the flight app the whole time!
It was so fun to just sit back and watch them!

It was so fun to see Pagosa in the snow!
Dan and Dunc have memories of coming as children with the snow covering the front doors and Dan being light enough (10 years old) to walk across the snow without sinking in like everyone else.

Up at our property,
The houses are taking shape with such beautiful details!
Stonework in the car port, gorgeous timbers in main rooms and master,
Arcadia steel windows and doors are mostly in.
Electrical and plumbing are in in the bunkhouse.

After the walk-through and lots of discussion about the upstairs bath, sledding hill (tow-rope debate),
reviewing storage spaces and reconfiguring the fridge site in the bunkhouse,
we were ready to sit in the car, eat our sack lunches and warm-up!
I don't know how these guys work outside all day!
Today was low 30's but days leading up have been in the negative temps!
The crew said today felt like the tropics in comparison.

After lunch, we drove to the other property.

We left our car at the top of the hill and had a wonderful snowy walk to the trailers.

Everything was so picturesque!

Thanks to Kristin for the great idea of snow angels!!
(Siri keeps wanting to correct to Snow Angela! I like it!)

You what's fun? Making first tracks through a huge snowy yard,
making snow angels, seeing somewhere you love covered in snow for the first time,
and taking shadow pictures.

Before it was time to go, we made a stop at The Wedding Spot to reenact for Duncan and Kristin.

A second pic because it was so pretty and so beautiful, and we look so cute,
we need two pics to commemorate this day!
