Second Chances

Today while out running errands, I saw a man in a wheelchair by Walmart with a "Please Help" sign.
I was going fast in the far lane so I couldn't pull over.
Except that when I could, I flipped a U-turn as I said to myself,
"You are not going to let another opportunity to be kind pass by."
I had to pull into a different entrance so I could get to him,
and at that entrance was a younger man also with a sign "Anything Helps."

I gave them both a bag that I'd put together the other day and said,
"I have a small bag of food if that helps."
And they both smiled and said it did and "God Bless You."

This morning the beauty of the following scripture jumped out at me:
"Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied."
Jude 1:2
