Wanting to do Something

Everyone wants to show how much they love someone during a crisis.
Working together on the quilt was a great opportunity to all be together,
be busy, learn something new, and show our love.

R. even came that night accompanied by friends in the ward and friends from away.
All ages of girls and leaders worked together.
When you're a Beehive, it must be special knowing the Laurels care too, right?
We saved the last stitch for her.

That night, one of the leaders stayed up late into the night to bind the quilt before she left on a flight to London in the morning.
I had arranged to pay someone to do the binding, and if her schedule didn't permit,
I knew Marge would help me get it done.
But the leader was sure -- she wanted to stay up late and finish it herself as a way to show her love.
