But I came home and sitting alone watching afternoon conference, had a good cry. Hurting for the family's pain. Hurting for all the future hurts our own family will inevitably experience in a mortal world. It's scary. And overwhelming.
Then Elder Budge began speaking about the journey of the Jaredites and testifying that through our sorrows we will find joy. And trusting in God will bring us peace as we recognize his love and plan for us. The whole talk calmed my spirit and filled my heart with hope.
At the funeral, Tammy and Anitra played Savior, Redeemer of My Soul.
