We didn't get any snow at our house even though it was predicted in the forecast.
But on the other side of Wasatch Blvd, just two miles from our home, there was a lot!
Instead of dealing with fresh snow and mud hiking today, I decided to walk up the steep streets.
I ended up doing 8 miles round trip.
And on my way back down, I ran into Duncan!! He was running up the hills!!!
There's just something really exciting about running into a familiar face far from home.

Meanwhile, Dan and Nick took advantage of 12 inches of new powder at Deer Valley!
(Alta parking lot was full by 6:30 a.m.!)
