The Falls

Walked the loop with Dan and Kershaw again today.
Kershaw has been going non-stop this trip -- walking and hiking longer distances than he's used to and staying busy all day coming for rides with us and so excited with so much action around.
Even getting more comfortable in the water.

After breakfast we went to The Falls.

Dan ran five miles after our walk, so took his "ice bath" in the river.
It was FREEZING!
Earlier this summer, when I got in near the falls, it was cold, but you could get used to it.
Not so today. The longer you were in, the more tortured you felt.

After lunch, we cleaned up which only took about 30 minutes with so many capable helpers.
A few games of Monopoly Deal while waiting for the laundry to dry.
Dropped off the car to Courtney and friends to use and we took a taxi to the airport.
Yep, Courtney discovered a Pagosa taxi service --
around town and back and forth from Durango airport too. She rents cars too.

Our original plane was fixed so we were back to the CJ for the ride home and it was great.
No one was spoiled in this group.
So glad we can make such a quick trip and enjoy Pagosa for a long weekend.
