Courtney and Michael got in late late late last night.
Or early, early, early this morning. However you want to look at it.
I went hiking with Carol in Millcreek.
Courtney and Michael worked all morning.
(Courtney took a break when her friends came over for a quick brunch visit.)
I made chocolate chip cookies, tres leches cake and brownies to get ready for Chris' farewell.
I've loved having a quiet day to prepare.
The brownies turned out terrible. I think the recipe wasn't quite right.
In the late afternoon we went with Chris through the temple for the first time.
He chose to go through the Jordan River Temple.
Loved being there with Gram and Diane.
LOVED seeing my three children sitting on a couch together in the Celestial Room.
(It was fun to run into Anne Marie and President Pace in our session and reminisce about
PTA and seeing each other in Spain!)
Then a post temple meal at Asian Star. Sweet Day.
Also Nick comes home tonight!
Courtney and Michael are driving down late tonight to pick him up.
All together again tomorrow!
