Chris' Farewell Sunday

Chris' farewell talk was 100% wonderful. He did a fantastic job presenting it and his personal experiences he shared were honest and sincere. The Open House afterward was beautiful and fun.
I'm guessing about 200 people. It's a special day being surrounded by people who love, support and admire you and are wishing you success and peace.

We had street tacos, Brazilian beans and rice, fruit, lots and lots of desserts and Mexican Cokes.

Carine and Courtney -- my two most reliable and helpful helpers!
Last minute ice delivery -- thanks Nick!

Combining with the Gygi's for McKay's farewell made it extra special.
Love their fun family!

This could possible have been Saturday night.
Cute Uncle Mike playing basketball with the kids.

The last of the gang. McKay leaves Tuesday.
Chris and Will leave a week from Tuesday. Noah and Cole on Wednesday.
Logan next month.
Ethan and his mom (both HEFY friends) drove all the way from California to support Chris and McKay. These boys (and families) have been blessed with such amazing friends and friends' families!

Some funny and/or memorable moments:
Chris and friends leaving (excused to leave) right after the musical number so they could get to McKay's talk.
Marty accompanying the Bennions singing "In the Hallow of Thy Hand."
Josh Watt's Homecoming talk was amazing with so much of his spunky personality showing through -- the perfect combo with Chris.
Dylan getting stuck in the bathroom (but he got out).
On the other side of the house, the guest bath door handle stopped working. Dan and Jeremy worked forever to get it off and eventually Dan kicked the door in!!
Courtney brought home Michael for the weekend.
Tres Leches Cake (and all other food) was devoured.
Except for having wayyyy too many fruit trays!
Jeremy had tons of connections with several people in our ward -- Tad Gygi, Missy (Whittingham) Kent and John Frank!
Having so much of my family here.
Sheree took tons of photos!
Hanging out after with EC, Mom, Marge and Rachel.

And now I'm exhausted!
