Casablanca

Tonight we went out for our Christmas present from Jo and Kelly -- dinner at Ruth's Chris and a night at the symphony playing along to the movie "Casablanca."
None of us had ever seen Casablanca before and we all loved it!
I would totally watch it again. Made us want to try some other classics.
(Although we were bored in Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
And I hate Doctor Zhivago.
But we're going to try another Humphrey Bogart -- The Maltese Falcon)

You know more lines and songs from Casablanca than you think you do:

"Play it again, Sam." (Which was actually, Play it, Sam.)
"Here's lookin' at you, Kid."
"I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."
"We'll always have Paris."
"If that plane leaves the ground and you're not with him, you'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life."

And the song, "It Had to Be You," which I thought was from Sleepless in Seattle, but was actually When Harry Met Sally. (We watched both movies over Christmas!)

KT and I went hiking this morning at the snow gate. It was her first time on that trail.
So fun to get out and hike.
