Kilkenny and Rock of Cashel

Way to go, Dan!
Driving a 9 passenger van on the right side of the car on the left side of the road,
shifting with his left hand. In the rain.

First stop: Kilkenny and the Kilkenny Castle
About a 2 hour drive from Dublin

Not sure what a Scrummy Tub is... but worth documenting.

I saw Marty's name on a sign as we turned the corner... It said Marty Shaeffer -- I saw it!
I made Dan drive around the block which was thick with traffic and narrow for the giant van, but he did it and we made it and the sign said Martin ___, Solicitor. Oops!

Next, off to the Rock of Cashel.
About 45 minutes from Kilkenny and on the way to Adare.
We paid extra for the guided tour of the Cathedral (onsite), the first building
on the site. Built in about 1100's where monks would work on ornamenting Bibles
such as the Book of Kells.
It was super interesting -- even the kids liked it.

Ireland is so beautiful!

Now on to Adare!
