I got a late start this morning hiking up Mt. Olympus and it was SO HOT!
90* by 11:00 a.m. Only went to the first river,
but so glad I got to see the mountain in bloom.
Nick and friends camped over night at the Spruces last night.
They had a great time and I was impressed how they figured everything out.
I did get involved when he said he wasn't going to bother taking a sleeping bag.
Suggested taking one just in case, and he was happy to tell me he didn't use it.
Scouting a spot earlier in the day, tent set-up, buying supplies, building a campfire,
tin foil dinners, breakfast burritos. So happy he's confident heading out into the world.
