Direct Sunlight

I've been dreaming about a Bonsai tree for this space for weeks.
Ever since I watched Stylish with Jenna Lyons and they met two men who sold Bonsai trees.
It was the Aha moment for this empty little table in the hall.

So at Cactus & Tropicals I shopped through the different varieties,
then asked a specialist for advice.
She recommended larger leaves for a more hardier tree.
Also said they have to live in front of a window and get direct sunlight at least two hours a day.
I asked what if they live NEXT to a window with bright sunlight?
Oh no. They must live directly in front of it or they will die.
I bought it anyway.

Isn't it funny that I didn't take the expert's word for it?
I guess I just had to know for myself.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

Put a little mirror next to it that reflects the light straight onto the tree. :) Then you can take it down whenever you want but the tree still gets its direct light!
