The most important part happened at dinner at our favorite Nick's Fish House.
At sunset the torch lighter blew his conch shell and lit the torches around the property.
Then we were summoned by the restaurant photographer to get our family photo.
Then the photographer asked to do couple photos.
He took Michael and Courtney first, then Marty and Lizzie got ready.
But instead of posing, this was what happened...
This photo was taken somewhere between
"I love you very much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you"
and Marty pulling out the ring:
So, so, so happy to have Lizzie and official part of the family!
These two are so happy together and have so much fun together!
They walked down to the beach and got a ring selfie:
When they came back, they were so excited Lizzie couldn't eat a thing.
Marty said he'd been so nervous ahead of time he couldn't eat before.
So cute!
While we ate dessert, we sent them on their way
to start calling family and friends to share the good news!
