He's really playing this photo up because he doesn't usually look so sad!
But when we got Kershaw back from 2 weeks at the trainer, his fur was so matted, we knew there was no hope for him!
Dan tried bathing him and conditioning his fur really well.
I bought detangled and a new comb and did some more research about how to get his mats out.
But there were too many of them.
They were so dang tangled he was on his way to having dreadlocks.
Friday he got shaved.
We were prepared for him to look like a deer,
so it wasn't so shocking and disappointing.
And on the bright side,
his fur isn't tracking in all the fresh snow which usually hangs onto his curls!
