Puzzle Day

This morning Nick commented it was "weird to not have Marty and Lizzie here," and asked when they were coming home. Then wondered if Courtney and Michael would still be here to overlap.
Later Chris asked when they were coming home too. We miss them!

I had my crown appointment this morning, then was home the rest of the day working with Courtney on the puzzle. Michael worked on the Harry Potter Legos and was so excited with Fawkes able to flap its wings. Chris went skiing.

This evening Courtney & Michael had friends over for dinner and games.
Nick and friends played X-box in his room. Chris & Luke watched movies in the basement.
Dan & I hung out in the playroom -- Dan on the flight simulator and me blogging.
We've had busy evenings every day for a week. Its nice to have a down evening.

This vacation we've been snacking on hot buttered Cheerios, heated
the kettle with cinnamon, cloves and orange for Christmas scent,
a hot chocolate bar at the ready, and Erin's toffee out for treats.

This amaryllis had sprouted 5" in the box. It never grew taller, but it still bloomed.
