NaNoWriMo

It's National Novel Writing Month and I'm giving it a go to write 1,666 words each day and have 50,000 written by the end of November. I am clinging to the mantra that poor writing is better than no writing. So therefore, just write.

I hiked to the first river (dry river bed) on Mt. Olympus today with the idea that I would contemplate scenarios for my story and come up with ideas. I used to do this for my Advertising classes. When I had to come up with a jingle or slogan or whatever, I'd jump on my bike, ride toward the canyon and create -- and I always came up with something.

Happy Writing!

Made it with no trouble. Stopped to add notes for my book.

At the first river. (I spent 10 min. sitting and dictating ideas )
