Christopher is going to be in big trouble with me if he doesn't write a group e-mail next week.
He says he will...
He called right as we were heading out to dinner (trying out a new burger joint after Nick and Dad went golfing -- Freddy's). It was the perfect time to talk since he had all of us and speakerphone.
He didn't have water for six days. So they had to buy filtered water and use it to bucket shower and drink. After two days they called their landlord, he said they should call him back in two more days. They called him at four days and he thought it really should be coming on.
At six days they asked him to come take a look. As it turned out, someone had turned the water off.
A regular day looks like:
Up at 6:30: shower, (if you have water), eat, workout, etc.
8:00 planning. 8:30 personal study. 9:30 companionship study.
10:00 language study. 10:30 12-week new missionary course.
They head out from 11:00 - 2:00 and go to appointments or knock on doors.
He says the time goes by really fast.
Most people have a regular door and a screen door. If the screen door is shut but the regular door is open, you can knock.
2:00 they eat at a member's home. 3:00 they give a spiritual thought.
Then back out until 9:00 p.m.
When they get home they eat a snack and go to bed. (Their 2:00 lunch is really big -- and good.)
He's happy. Next week they go into Hermosillo for splits and trainings so it's going to be a busy week outside of their area.
