Grandparenting

While I was on the plane to Chicago,

Dan and Emi were out exploring the city.

Marty & Lizzie took a tour of the business building and attended a (3-hour!) class.

Ever since Dan got to be with Emi in New York,

he's been amazed at how she's talking in full sentences.

It's so fun how fast these little ones develop new skills!

Emi is so observant and has an incredible memory.

We walked around downtown for a late lunch and then looking at a couple different apartments that other MBA students live in. Emi had been sick the past night, so Marty and Dan 

took the dirty clothes to the laundromat and Lizzie and I talked while Emi played.

Afterward, the kids went to meet a new business school friend for dessert and to get the scoop on 

all things University of Chicago while Dan and I put Emi to bed.

Being a parent of adult children and a grandparent of toddlers is sooo fun!
