Utah Earthquake, Hawaii Bubble

Woke up to 57 messages and more coming by the second after Utah had a 5.7 earthquake.
What is happening?! The world is falling apart!
The biggest news to come of it is Moroni lost his trumpet on the temple.

It was still dark, so Dan and I worked out at the gym and then met up with
Steph and Eric to walk the beach path after.
In addition, rumor has is that the missionaries in Africa are coming home to quarantine
and any States missionaries are coming home who've had medical issues ever.
Strange times.

The mornings are still breathtaking here.
I love this changed perspective we have from our room up high
compared to the villas we're usually in.
Change can be beautiful.

At breakfast this newspaper headline greeted us.
The biggest change so far is all restaurants are closed for dine-in
and will be offering take-out options only.
And the road to Hana is closed to all tourists.

We're glad we have our back-up flights home that we're changing daily so that
if we need to leave at a moment's notice, we can.

However, since we're still here, we enjoyed it to the fullest hanging out at Grand Wailea's pool,

Spikeball and paddle ball on the beach, eating lunch in the sun and playing in the waves.

We didn't build this, but how clever!

I kind of like the walk from the Fairmont to the Grand Wailea.
Who can complain about walking on such a beautiful path?!

Dan and Nick golfed in the afternoon, I napped and read.
Paia fish house for dinner where we could still eat at their outdoor picnic tables.
We came back to our room and played Codenames while the boys played x-box.

These have been wonderful, happy days. We've only been here two full days,
but they've been so relaxing, warm and beautiful with lots of laughs.
Salt Lake sounds like chaos. We're happy to be missing it.
But what will tomorrow bring?
