We piled everyone's ski bags, skis, suitcases and food for seven for four days
(which is soooo much more than you'd expect),
into the Lexus, then into the plane and after a quick flight to Eagle, Colorado,
into the smallish rental car and with a squished Michael and Christopher and food bags at all of our feet
(reminded me of the drive to camp in Pagosa after stopping at City Market),
we arrived at our condo in Beaver Creek for our ski weekend.
(Missing Courtney and Nicholas!)
Our condo looks over a ice skating rink in the plaza of Beaver Creek Village.
An elevator ride and a couple escalator rides away from the Centennial Lift.
It's so charming and we're excited to be trying a new resort.
We picked up pizza for dinner from a restaurant in the plaza and a few forgotten essentials at the market--
$17 for land 'o lakes butter, $11 for whip cream and $18 for a 24 pack of water bottles!
Whew! Good thing we brought most of our food!
Marty, Lizzie and Emi arrived just after the pizza.
(Beaver Creek is a two and a half hour drive from Highlands Ranch, unless there's traffic, and they made great time.)
Oh, Emi! She's the star of the show this weekend!
